PIC completed extensive work at this site in Commerce, CA. The site had been significantly impacted by volatile organic contaminants from former tenants. PIC completed extensive site investigation, including soil and soil gas sampling and testing. Due to the extent of contamination, PIC coordinated soil excavation, removal, and disposal of shallow soil. This site also required soil vapor extraction to complete remediation requirements. This specific photo shows PIC overseeing hollow-stem augering to a total depth of 110 feet. PIC successfully investigated, remediated the site and coordinated site closure with “No Further Action” status by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
