This site in Culver City, CA involved removal of 3 single-walled Underground Storage Tanks (USTs). The site had been used historically as a retail gasoline station and auto repair facility. Due to leaking from the USTs, PIC recommended the installation of groundwater monitoring wells to assess the extent of contamination to the relatively shallow groundwater. PIC coordinated tank removal operations through Los Angeles County Department of Public Works and groundwater well installation through the Regional Water Quality Control Board. PIC continues to purge, sample, and test groundwater at the site.
